CAD Services
JST operates a fully equipped CAD design department that provides complete CAD design services for oil, gas, petrochemical, power, water, civil, rail and construction industries. The computer-aided design includes work such as process piping, vessels, skid packages, pig receivers, steel structures etc.
CAD 3D models are drafted by professional and qualified design engineers, technologists, CAD designers and CAD draughts men using the latest software (e.g. AutoCAD, AutoPlant, Caesar II)

Why Is CAD 3D Modelling Important?
Modelling in CAD offers various benefits, both from an engineering standpoint and when it comes to ironing out possible defects in design ahead of implementation. This is how professional CAD design can potentially save millions in time and money spent on a project:
Enhanced Design Quality – We use the latest 3D CAD software, with a rich variety of libraries, usually spanning over 70,000 templates of mechanical parts. Our CAD computer-aided design professionals use these to select designs based on the needs of the project. This ensures that the design is highly accurate, saving both time and money.
Improves Productivity – One of the most significant advantages of modeling in CAD is that it can help a designer visualise all components in the design effectively at the onset of the project. This helps the designer understand the final rendering and then, if needed, make changes where needed. In other words, you can make instant changes; this reduces the number of iterations and hence raises productivity.
Compliant with International Standards – Our AutoCAD 3D drawing is compliant with all ISO standards published for CAD methods. It is a thorough standard intended to ensure a consistent drafting process. The software we use follows international standards like GOST, BSI, GB, ISO, DIN and ANSI.
Save Energy, Time and Costs – When you choose our CAD services, we help you save cost, time and energy. These are resources your business can put to better use elsewhere. Our CAD services allow you to test tolerances and various other stress-related variables. This allows us to address serious design flaws before actual construction starts.
Visualise Everything – 3D CAD modelling software allows you to visualise every mechanical component as part of the model. It can be graphically illustrated and animated if needed. This helps in envisioning how the final plan will look and function. The approach also helps make data-driven decisions and develop an accurate business forecast.
The most significant advantage of our CAD services is that it speeds up the process associated with completing any project. It almost halves the planning process time, ensuring on-time delivery regardless of its (project’s) scope.
Piping Design and Drafting
This service includes 2D and 3D modeling. The priority in the piping design lies in the safety, operation and maintenance point of view. This also takes into consideration construction capability, code requirement and owner requirement all of which are major parts of ensuring flawless piping design.
All our qualified engineers and designers are certified by Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training Course and also have experience on offshore site visit/survey to verify/confirm the piping route and As-built. Although the service is primarily based at JST Bangkok Headquarters.
